  Unpleasant people to work with. I had cataract surgery and the first eye went fine. A few weeks later,I had the second I done. My appt was at 5pm which surprised me. Then I had to wait almost 3 hours to be operated on.While I was in recovery, a man came in with next mornings appt (7am!!!) I told him very nicely that there was no way I could be back at 7 am because I had to get a ride and I have a disabled son who I have to make arrangements with.He said he couldn't change it, as the office was closed. He said to call the next day for a different appt. Which I did. They gave me an appt a month out and when I went in the assistant who helped me was so rude it was unbelievable. He asked me if I was using the drops they prescribed and I said I had finished them. After the interview he summarized by saying" so you refused to take the eye drops". I said that was incorrect, I had used them all until they were finished. He rolled his eyes and changed it on computer...then he held out his palm at me"talk to the hand" gesture when ever I tried to speak. When we were done he said do you want to have me as your assistant again and I said I don't care, but maybe not. He says "Good, because I have entered in here (computer) that I will never wait on you again. I was so mad I walked out and I met the doctor in the hall. He too, started in on me about breaking the next morning appt. So I left. I have never liked that place anyway...they treat you like cattle and run you through your paces. You have to wait and wait just to check in and there is frequently no one at front desk despite a full waiting room. Then they open the door and say your name. Then they walk down the hall really fast to the door your supposed to go to and wait for you there. he whole time they don't talk or look you in the eye. My regular doctors and nurses treat me with dignity and respect, call me by my name and joke around with me. Sometimes they even call to make sure I understood correctly about medication or instructions. When I had the cataract surgery I was wheeled around and shuttled from place to place like a rat in a maze. It is very obvious that they are trying to do as many surgeries as they can at one time, to make more money.Your personal needs and wishes are not considered and I felt like both the doctor and the assistant were angry at me before I even got there and I have never been treated so poorly in my life.If you are old they want you to have cataract surgery, and then could care less how you feel or how it effects you. If you wanna be treated to assembly line medicine, go on in. I changed to a doctor in Bellingham and guess what? They called me by my name, and were very professional
